Middle School JV Basketball is still on their A-game after the break

The boy’s middle school JV basketball team has been on fire lately winning 3 of their last 5 games and they capped off tonight with another win making it their 4th win out of the last six games.

The team was down 6 at the half and needed to get their defense together, allowing 28 points in the first half.

“I think we didn’t do good enough in the first half on defense and could’ve done a better job on that,” Nate Kunczewski said.

The third quarter was back and forth, when Pepperell would score Darlington would always answer back with a bucket.

“I think we played really hard the whole game but the second half we came back with a lot of effort,” Mathew Sanker said.

The fourth quarter is when Darlington started to really make the comeback,  they got the score tied with one minute left. Darlington made a layup to go up by two points and then would make a 3 pointer to put the game out of reach for Pepperell.

“We had to battle really hard in that 4th quarter and we ended up coming out with the dub,” Kunczewski said.

The team came out with the win, 32-28 defeating the Pepperell Dragon’s.
