On Friday, January 7, The boys Jv team lost a close game to Mount Paran. The Final score was 28-25. It was their second game of the year and they’ve been practicing over the break. 

“The loss affected us a lot and we needed to win and could not finish this time,” freshman Sammy Kunczewski said.

Kunczewski had eight points and a very good defensive game. He also tied for the most points in that game for the tigers.

Sam Twente had 3 points with a 3 pointer.

”It’s tough that we lost and I’m going to try harder next game,’’ Twente said. 

Jace Hatcher had a great game with 10 points as well “ It felt great to play and we have much to work on’’ Hatcher said. 

The team lost Friday night but Hatcher stayed positive the whole night and they came close to a win. 

The game was a close one. Even though they lost they fought back and almost won. The team looks forward to beating Christian Heritage on Tuesday January 11, 2022.
