On August 22, Darlington’s Winter Musical was announced. Students waited impatiently in their seats as Ms. Daniel pulled up the announcement video. The video revealed that this year’s Winter Musical will be a broadway performance of The Addams Family.

“I am very excited to audition for The Addams Family musical. It is going to be so much fun, filled with energy, comedy and dancing,” senior Rainey Scarborough said.

The cast will consist of a unique family and an interestingly diverse ensemble. Each member of the ensemble will be from a different time period with their own costumes, quirks, and dance contributions.

“I’m really excited for this year’s musical because it’s a complete 180 from years in the past. I love how dark and comical it is, and I can’t wait to audition,” senior Emily Taylor said.
