Rock ‘n Roll Ice Cream Rolls

Rock+n+Roll+Ice+Cream+Rolls

Just two weeks ago, Ice Cream Rolls opened on Broad Street. Ice Cream Rolls is exactly what it sounds like, you choose your flavor, it’s put on a frozen marble slab, chopped, smoothed and rolled into five rolls sprinkled with three toppings of your choice.

Ice Cream Rolls, while a cute and modern space, is very small. The line extended the length of the store, I waited for 30 minutes to get two servings of ice cream, and there were only 14 seats. However, they have clear glass in front of where they make/roll the ice cream, which is a neat thing to watch.

The price of the ice cream itself was expensive, I paid $12.70 for two servings. However, they give you five very thick rolls in each serving which is a lot for one person to consume. I think part of the price is for the experience. While the quality of the ice cream was not fabulous, it was a fun time watching the process of making the ice cream into rolls.

I would give Ice Cream Rolls a 3.5/5. It is a cool and new experience with pretty good ice cream and a modern place to eat it. However, the line and wait time was longer than expected and it was a little pricey.

I would not recommend Ice Cream Rolls if you are looking for high quality ice cream on the go. However, if you want to hang out with friends or family and have a new experience with some decent ice cream this would be a fun place to go.
