Senior Spotlight: Hanna Jon Lewis

What is a story, happy or otherwise, that you remember that you feel made you into the person you are today?

“Rumpus 2016. I think I aged 20 years just in that one weekend.”

 

Do you value your successes or failures more? Why?

“Successes because I feel accomplished when I succeed and it pushes me to keep doing better.”

 

Is there something that you feel you were meant to do or be?

“No.”

 

If you could watch everything that happened in your life until now, would you enjoy it?

“Definitely not.”

 

What drives you to do better at something?

“Competition.”

 

If karma was coming back to you, would it help or hurt you?

“Oh, it would hurt me for sure.”

 

What terrifies you the most? Describe a scenario where you would feel this way.

“Commitment. I’m honestly terrified of choosing the wrong career path and being stuck doing something I hate for the rest of my life. “

 

What would happen if you never wasted another minute of your life, what would that look like?

“I’d probably skip college and travel the world.”

 

How much control do you really have over yourself?

“Not a lot to be honest.”

 

When did you last push the boundaries of your comfort zone?

“This past summer, and it ended up putting me in the hospital for a week so I don’t think I’m gonna try that again for a while.”

 

What have you given up on?

“All my senior year classes. May 14th can’t come fast enough.”

 

Describe a time in your life where you felt pushed to your farthest physical, mental, and/or emotional boundary.

“All of senior year. PSA: it’s not as easy as it seems.”

 

What are you holding onto that you feel you need to let go of?

“The idea that I’m going to graduate with honors because I’m definitely not.”
