Home Again Movie Review

Home Again is the story of Alice who is newly separated from her husband and raising her two daughters by herself. She has moved across the country and is struggling with being a single parent. Then, she meets Harry, George and Teddy, three boys who are trying to make it big in LA, but are completely broke. After offering them a place to stay in her guest house, they become a part of her family, helping her around the house and with her daughters.

Home Again is a little cliche, but at the same time, it was a nice two hour break from all of the real-world craziness. While there was some drama, including the reappearance of her husband and some romance, overall, the movie was fairly calm and enjoyable. I oftentimes found myself laughing because the movie was funny, but not in a rude way, simply in an uplifting way.

All of the characters are extremely lovable. I fell in love with all three of the boys almost instantaneously. Their love for each other and the way they interact with Alice and her daughters is adorable. They really all become a family by the end of the movie.

I would give Home Again 4.5/5 stars. It’s one of the best m

ovies I have seen in awhile. It’s simply a light-hearted, feel good movie with no other strings attached.

If you are looking for some deep movie about life and love, Home Again is not the movie for you; however, if you are simply looking for something happy to watch, definitely check it out.
