It may be cold, but that hasn’t stopped people from visiting FRIOS, the new popsicle place on Broad Street. Although it opened in the fall of last year, it has been a hot place to go since it opened. They are always getting new flavors for different times of the year, such as pumpkin pie around Thanksgiving and eggnog for Christmas. They also have year-round flavors such as strawberry, cookies and milk, sweet tea and even some crazy flavors such as fruity pebbles. Besides the great flavors, the staff is really nice too. You can always expect a warm welcome and a cold popsicle.

FRIOS originally opened not too far from here in Gadsden, AL, and has been growing in the southern states. I would imagine that they will start to grow throughout the United States. For now we’ll just stick to Rome’s location and talk about how awesome it is. As you walk in off of Broad Street for a quick snack or some dessert you’ll be greeted politely and then decide which new flavor you want to try. After you pay, sit down with your friends or family and enjoy some time together and love your popsicle. Speaking of paying, the popsicles are a pretty good deal. You’ll be handing over three dollars and twenty five cents. Yes, that’s it.
