On May 7 , Thornwood leaders went to dinner at BlueFin for their end of the year leader celebration.
“Going out to eat as a dorm was very fun. I really enjoyed going to BlueFin because its isn’t something I get to eat everyday, so it was very nice getting to try something else that I don’t normally get to try,” junior Natalia Sands said.
The leaders of the dorm really enjoyed this gathering. It brought the leaders closer to together and they were able to bond over food which was also very comforting in hard times that the seniors are soon leaving.
“This event strengthened the bond between the leaders. We also did the TikTok challenge where you buy different candies and put them in a bowl and make a candy salad. It was very sweet, but it was also very good because we had a variety of different candies, even ones that you wouldn’t think go together went together, surprisingly,” Sands said.
With time winding down on senior year, the leaders enjoyed this chance for everyone to get together for one last time.
“I would love to do more things with just the leaders, especially around RUMPUS time, because that’s when we need each other the most, and communication is probably the hardest around that time of year,” Sands said.
Even though the school year is coming to an end, the bonds these girls shared will last a lifetime.
“I made life-long sisters. T-WOOD ON TOP,” Sands said.
