On Friday, November 10th, the Darlington Competition Cheerleading team participated in the State Championship game broadcasted in the Macon Centreplex live on TV. Students all gathered in the student center to watch the competition.
Despite not winning, team members still enjoyed the time they had. Sophomore Gracie Cowan was one of the cheerleaders who traveled to Macon.
“I think just being able to go stay and compete was actually big,” Cowan said. “That was a goal for us this season.”
These games conclude the fall season of competition cheerleading. The spring season will start in May with tryouts in February.
