Senior Spotlight: Savannah Sands

What drives you to do better at something?

“Knowing that it will be over soon.”

If karma was coming back to you, would it help or hurt you?

“I’d like to say it would help me, but it would probably hurt me.”

What do you want most out of life?

“To be happy.”

What terrifies you the most? Describe a scenario where you would feel this way.

“The ocean kind of freaks me out.”

Why?

“It’s freaky! ‘cause it like is so deep and all of those creatures and some creatures aren’t even known yet.  It’s just freaky.”

What would happen if you never wasted another minute of your life, what would that look like?

“I’d probably be a lot smarter.”

Do you consider yourself the hero or the villain in your story?

“In everybody’s story aren’t they the hero in their point of view?”

How much control do you really have over yourself?

“Not much.”

 Why would you say that?

“Like I can’t really.  So like freshman year, I was trying to control everything I would do because I was afraid of everybody, but now I just don’t really care.  I just let things happen.”

When did you last push the boundaries of your comfort zone?

“ Last night.  I stayed up really late.”
