Bad Moms Christmas is the sequel to last year’s Bad Moms. It is the story of three moms, Amy, Kiki and Carla, who are overwhelmed trying to make the perfect Christmas for their kids. As if they were not overwhelmed enough, each of their moms show up to add even more stress to their holiday seasons. As the movie counts down to Christmas, each family gets more chaotic, eventually leading to a hectic Christmas and new relationships between these moms and daughters.

Though a little trite, Bad Moms Christmas is hilarious. Each mom-daughter combo has a different and crazy relationship, making for many laughs. Bad Moms Christmas takes all of the craziness and raucousness from the original and ups the ante. Like during the original Bad Moms, I found myself laughing for the majority of the movie, but it made a very cliché shift turn into sap, which I could have done without. The transition was a little forced, and not really needed.

Overall I would rate this movie a 3.5/5 stars. If you’re looking for a laugh, this is the movie for you.
