E.L. Wright Awards
This year E.L. Wright Awards honor 43 students with the highest GPA in given courses.
Students have a chance to look back at their challenging school year, especially seniors when their year come to an end.
“I am very honored and extremely humbled to have received E.L. Wright Awards today. I’m proud of all of the recipients, especially underclassmen, because I know how difficult it is to maintain outstanding grades while engaging in the other Darlington activities and keeping step with the business of life,” senior Stacy Chen said. “Senior year has been an uphill battle, but seeing its fruition is delightful and gratifying.”
The award not just marks students achievement but also act as a motivation for their future academic career.
“I feel a sense of accomplishment after getting the award. It is like all the effort I paid during the year gained a positive feedback,” junior Rebecca Zheng said, “I am really happy about it and I am really proud of myself. I will keep working hard next year.”
