Hairstyles are very unique. The thing about hairstyles is everyone’s hair is going to be different. Whether your hair is long and blonde, or short and brunette, your hair is unique to you. While dressing with style can help you look better, it all starts with a fresh haircut.
“My hair was out of whack,” Wilson said. “So, I figured since I was on break, I might as well get a haircut.”
Lewis also shares why he needed to get a new haircut and why he chose the haircut he did.
“My hair was growing fast, and I had to put it down into a more protective style,” Lewis said. “I went with some slightly slanted corn rows, so my hair is easier to deal with.”
Powers has intentions of having a fresh haircut once he’s done growing it out, so he can have the look he’s going for.
“I’m going for a very popular haircut at the moment,” Powers said. “I am also trying to grow it out a little bit, and this is the in between phase.”
Keeping your hair neat and clean is a confidence booster, and even helps keep your scalp and the roots of your hair healthy.
“You always want to impress people around you and have a good look for yourself,” Powers said. “Your haircut can also make a good impression, and help complete a clean look.”
Having a good appearance in public might not mean anything to some, but some people want to look as sharp as possible when out and about.
“Public appearance is the main reason, if you don’t have a good haircut then people will make fun of you and laugh at you,” Lewis said. “So having a good haircut is a good confidence booster.”
Barber shops are a very important part of the process to get a haircut, if you don’t have a good barber, then you might not get a very good haircut.
“I go to my mom’s friend to get my hair cut because it is one of her best friends,” Wilson said. “She is also relatively cheap, and she is the only barber I’ve ever gone to.”
Knowing your barber has its perks, they know what you want each time, and can try and improve on your haircut each time as well.
“I go to Manolo, a Mexican run barber shop in West Rome,” Powers said. “He has been getting me right for as long as I can remember and can get you right too.”
