About
The Darlingtonian began in 1916 as a student-run school newspaper. It was widely-read until its discontinuation. The publication was later restored as an online newspaper. In 2014, the publication experienced a major overhaul and now, in 2015, it has experienced another. Also, for the first time in several years, the Darlingtonian has returned to the hands of students directly as a printed publication with this online edition as a counterpart. The duality of the Darlingtonian’s publication is a development in its history. Contributors include the Student Publications After-School Activity, the Intro to Media Arts, Sports and Arts Media, and Advanced Media: Yearbook classes. Specific staff positions and roles can be found on the “Staff” page of the Darlingtonian Online under “About”.
