Residential Picnic

The final residential dinner was held on Wednesday April 18, the Darlington residential community came together for a picnic and games in The Cove and Chapel Lawn.

The Flik staff provided the residents of Darlington with hotdogs, burgers, pretzel bites, fried dough, and veggie b4urgers. There were also games available to the residents such as Rounders, Spikeball, Cornhole and Frisbee.

It is an enjoyable time, where friends are with friends and are introduced to new friends thus strengthening the Dar community’s family-like values.

“I enjoy having the residential dinners because it is a great way to meet new people and get a chance to talk with them without it being awkward. It was even more fun because it was out in the cove with games,” senior Ryen King said.

Students also enjoyed this type of residential dinner as opposed to the traditional sit-down dinner in the Dining Hall.

“I like it more than the other one, it is more fun being there with all my friends talking, playing games and having fun,” sophomore Clara Esplugues said.
