Q & A with Tamara Brisibe on Big Little Sister
Tamara Brisibe
BLS 101
Q: Before Big Little Sister (BLS), how do you think the relationship was between the upper girls dorm and the underclassmen girls dorm?
A: I think that everyone had their own individual relationships, but there wasn’t harmony between anyone.
Q: What was your Big Little Sister experience like and what motivated you to continue it?
A : I did not get to have a big sister, but from what I heard and noticed no one really connected with their big sister.
Q: Although this is a residential event, do you ever think about opening this to day students girls ?
A: Hopefully in the near future we could extend Big Little Sister to the day students because we want every young girl to get someone they will have to look up to, model and emulate, and create a sisterhood throughout the school.
Q: Do you think that new girls in Cooper, Regester and Thornwood are going to make bonds with their big sister and appreciate them?
A: I think they are going to make bonds because I’ve seen some friendships in the making.
Q: How do you feel about making all these events happen?
A: At times it may be stressful, but at the end of the day it’s really fun to get everyone to different places and out of their dorm for a change.
