Have you ever dreamed of making your life a TV show? Well, so did Adam Goldberg, and thanks to a bunch of home videos and ABC studios, he was able to make his dream a reality.

ABC’s show The Goldbergs is a brilliant show based on a series of home videos about a Jewish boy in middle and high school having to grow up in the ’80s with a high strong  family and their friends in the small town of Jenkintown, PA. The Goldbergs are a family of six consisting of an overprotective “smother” Beverly Goldberg (Wendi Mclendon-Covey) and a lazy but caring dad Murray Goldberg (Jeff Garlin). Beverly and Murray have three kids, the oldest is a very popular girl high school senior named Erica Goldberg (Hayley Orrantia), Barry “ Big Tasty” Goldberg is the middle child is a very goofy self confident boy (Troy Gentle) and the youngest is the main character young nerdy but hilarious Adam Goldberg (Sean Giambrone). The show also features their witty, young at heart grandpa Albert “pops’ Solomon (George Segal).

This is honestly one of my favorite shows on TV. It covers many aspects of life such as; high school, music , movies, and many other thing but especially what it was like growing up in the ’80s. So I hope you tune into ABC on Wednesday nights at 8:00 to watch the Goldbergs; you won’t be disappointed.
